A reminder must never invent a dose

Nily must copy and preserve the user's confirmed instructions. It must not calculate a missing strength, infer frequency from common use, convert units silently or recommend taking more because an earlier dose was missed.

If instructions are unclear, show the current recorded information and direct the user to the prescription, dispensing label, prescriber or pharmacist. Never advise doubling a dose through generic content.

Missed and delayed doses need medicine-specific guidance

What to do after a missed or delayed dose depends on the exact medicine, formulation, schedule, elapsed time and clinical context. A generic reminder page cannot safely provide one rule.

Nily may display current approved product information or clinician-approved instructions tied to the exact medicine. Otherwise, ask the applicable prescriber or pharmacist. Do not mark a dose "resolved" merely because the notification was dismissed.

A reported symptom does not prove a side effect

Symptoms can arise from a medicine, dose, interaction, illness, food, dehydration, stress or another cause. The tracker should preserve timing and context without making a diagnosis.

For each possible side effect, allow the user to record:

  • When it began and whether it is ongoing.
  • User-described severity and change over time.
  • Relationship to recorded administration without claiming causality.
  • Relevant food, hydration, activity or other selected context.
  • Action already taken and professional contact, if any.
  • Optional private notes.

Do not use an AI probability as a medical conclusion or reassurance.

Safety routing comes before engagement

Suspected adverse reactions can be reported in India

It must not recommend titration, early dosing, restarting, switching, extending a pen or vial, sharing a device or changing the plan because of a trend. Product-specific storage, administration, missed-dose and serious-risk instructions must come from the current approved information and responsible clinician.

A family member or caregiver may help with reminders only through a governed dependent or sharing flow. Whose medicine is being tracked, what the caregiver can see or change, when access expires and how the patient or authorized representative can revoke it are shown clearly.

Reproductive, mental-health, HIV, tuberculosis or other sensitive medicine information is never exposed through a generic family dashboard without specific lawful authorization.

Your medication record remains sensitive

Medicine names, schedules, adherence, diagnoses, possible side effects, pregnancy context, clinician details and notes can reveal highly sensitive information. Nily must not use them for advertising audiences, insurer or employer decisions, pharmacy pressure, supplement targeting or general session replay.
